Hi there Stampers.  I’m  baaaaaaccccckkkk…  Our cruise was FANTASTIC!  We didn’t encounter any bad weather and had the most fun!  In Haiti we went snorkeling and to a private island on an adult only getaway.  In Jamaica, we went to Montego Bay and sailed on a catamaran and snorkeled some more.  In the Grand Cayman we swam with the dolphins. Then in Cozumel we rented a car and toured the Tequila factory and visited the Mayan Ruins. It was an AWESOME way to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary!

Today we have yet another PPA challenge.  This one was a sketch challenge.  I invite you to grab your stamps and  play along with us at www.PalsPaperArts.com.

PPA272I started with a Mossy Meadow card base (5.5″ x 8.5″, scored at 4.25″). I created my own designer paper using the Vintage Leaves stamp set and Mossy Meadow, Cajun Craze, Crumb Cake and Delightful Dijon inks.  I stamped the center leaf first and worked from the inside out making sure to change the colors and direction of the leaves and hang off the edge of the paper as I stamped.

Next was a strip of Cajun Craze card stock 4.25″ x 1.25″ and a strip of Very Vanilla 4.25″ x 1″.  On the Very Vanilla strip I stamped the “Praying for you” phrase from the Stampin’ Up! Thoughts and Prayers stamp set in Delightful Dijon ink.  I then stamped the leaf onto a scrap of Very Vanilla card stock and cut it out with the matching Leaflets framelit die. I then adhered the leaf to the card with a dimensional.

I hope you enjoy my card and decide to play along at www.PalsPaperarts.com.

Happy stamping,
