Hi Stampers. Today’s card features a label from Bridesmaid Wines, made by Crocker and Starr Wines, where I work as Finance Manager.  We had a lot of extra labels laying around and I asked if I could have some to play around with.  My co-workers were surprised by what I came up with.

Bridesmaid1The card started with a Soft Suede card base, 8.5″ x 5.5″, scored at 4.25″.  Onto that I used Soft Suede ink and the Everything Eleanor stamp set to create the swirls in the far back.  Next I used a 5″ x 3.75″ layer of Sahara Sand card stock that I ran through the big shot with the Lovely Lace Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  I used fast fuze to adhere the two together. Next I adhered the label to a piece of Very Vanilla card stock and trimmed it so that there was a 1/4″ border around the label.
Bridesmaid2I then used gold cording and wrapped it around that layer three times and tied a bow.  I then adhered this layer to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Super easy and super pretty.

I challenge you to use some “non traditional” card making materials this week.  For those traditional card making supplies, please by from my online store.  (It keeps me in business and keeps these blog posts coming *wink*).

Happy Stamping,
