Hi Stampers. It’s that time again!  Time for another Pals Paper Arts sketch challenge.  This sketch is brought to you by the fabulous Mary Fish of Stampin’ Pretty.  I am blessed to be a Stampin’ Pretty Pal, not only do I reap the benefits of her knowledge, but the stampers (hobby and business demos) that sign up under me also benefit from all the wonderful things Mary has to offer – added to what I offer.  Did I mention that in June you get two additional stamp sets to add to the already fabulously discounted kit – that you get to choose yourself! What a great deal – ask me how to get in on the best deal ever!  Anyway…. back to our sketch.  Here is the card I created:

This card has a Basic Grey card base (8.5″ x 5.5″, scored at 4.25″). Next up was a 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″ layer of Designer Series Paper from the A Little Foxy DSP stack.  I used the Foxy Friends stamp set with Pool Party, Calypso Coral, Smoky Slate and Memento Black ink pads to stamp the foxes onto Whisper White card stock.  I cut the faces out with the circle framelits and used the next size up to make a matte with Basic Black card stock.  The ribbon across the bottom is some retired ribbon I had left over – it just happened to be exactly the right color.

On the inside of the card, I used the same stamp set and stamped the stump in Chocolate Chip ink and the fox in Calypso Coral and Memento black ink in the bottom right corner.  In the upper right corner I used Always Artichoke ink to stamp some greenery.  I got the two tones by stamping the first set of leaves and then stamping the second set of leaves without re-inking the stamp.

I hope my card inspires you to play along with Pals Paper Arts – or at least pull out your supplies and stamp.  If you wish to purchase any of the products used in the making of this card, please use my “shop online” button on this blog to browse my store or use the links below to take you directly to the product you wish to purchase.
