Hi Stampers. Happy World Card Making Day! Seems to me that there is no better time to say “Thank You” for being a follower of my blog and hopefully a customer in my online store.  YOU are the reason that I share my ideas via this blog, Pinterest, Twitter, YouTube, etc.

A flamingo & flowers hand stamped card made with Stampin' Up! Pop of Paradise stamp set and Botanical Flowers thinlits by Queen B Creations

This thank you card was made with a Wild Wasabi card base (11″ x 4.25″, scored at 5.5″). Next is a layer of Flirty Flamingo card stock 5.25″ x 4″. The top Whisper White layer is 5″ x 3.75″.  Using the Pop of Paradise stamp set by Stampin’ Up! I stamped the leaves with Wild Wasabi ink and the Thank You with Flirty Flamingo ink. The flamingo was also inked with Flirty Flamingo, but before stamping, I used a marker to add black to the beak. I used the Botanical Builder Framelit Dies to cut the leaves out of Always Artichoke card stock and the flower out of Flirty Flamingo and Daffodil Delight card stock.  I adhered them to the card with glue dots.

I used Always Artichoke and Soft Suede markers to ink the pineapple stamp before stamping.  I used snail adhesive to adhere the layers to the card and finished it off by stamping on the envelope with coordinating stamps and inks.
