Rich Razzleberry Rose Wonder

Hi Stampers.  Have you been as busy as I have?  Seems like Christmas is getting here faster and faster each year!  I’ve been creating Christmas cards like crazy.  I had a class last night for 12 people registered (but I prepared for 18, just in case….), they each made 9 cards each (3 designs, 3 of each design).  That meant cutting out pieces for 162 cards… and that was just the one class!

For today’s post – I decided to go non-Christmas and make this simple rose card.  It’s a very elegant look, yet it’s super easy!

Rich Razzleberry Rose Wonder handmade card. Made using Stampin' Up! Rose Wonder stamp set and Rose Garde Thinlet dies by Queen B Creations.

It starts out with a Rich Razzleberry card base (8.5″ x 5.5″, scored at 4.25″).  Next is a 4″ x 5.25″ layer of Whisper White.  I used the large rose die from the Rose Garden Thinlits and placed it on the layer and ran it through the big shot.  I then removed the cut outs from the rose and leaves.  I then placed the die cut and one side onto the card base.  I glued it down using the find tip glue pen.Rich Razzleberry Rose Wonder handmade card. For the inside of the card I used a 5.25″ x 4″ layer of Whisper White card stock and stamped the verse from the Rose Wonder stamp set in Rich Razzleberry ink.  I then stamped the leaves (from the same stamp set) across the upper right and lower left corner in Garden Green ink.  I then lined a medium Whisper White envelope with some Rich Razzleberry designer series paper to go with it.
