Hi Stampers. Are you ready for an Epic Celebration?!?!  I have just the card for the greatest kid in the universe!

I’m sorry I’ve been MIA for a while.  I had an episode of really high blood pressure that sent me to the doctors about a month ago.  I came away with blood pressure medication AND a horrible cold (or the flu) I’m still trying to shake the last of.

Today I’m playing along with the RemARKably Creative Blog Tour and we are doing a mix and match theme.  We were asked to mix something new with something from the 2017-2018 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog.  I chose to mix the new Epic Celebrations Sale-A-Bration stamp set with the Five For All stamp set from the annual catalog.  I made a birthday card for my granddaughter.  Her birthday was February 7th, the day after mine.

Stampin' Up! kids handmade birthday card made using Sale-A-Bration 2018 Epic Celebrations and Annual Catalog Five For All stamp sets by Lisa Ann Bernard of Queen B Creations

This card started with a Dapper Denim card base, 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″.  Next up was a 4″ x 5 1/4″ layer of Pool Party card stock (CS).  I used the shoes from Epic Celebration to stamp the shoes randomly on that layer in Pool Party ink and the dots from the same set were randomly stamped in Smoky Slate ink.  Next I used the Basic Gray shimmer ribbon and attached it with glue dots and layered a Dapper Denim scalloped circle over that with stampin’ dimensionals and a stitched shapes Whisper White circle over that with snail adhesive.  The sentiment from the Five for All stamp set was stamped onto the Whisper White circle in Dapper Denim ink.

Inside the card is a 4″ x 5 1/4″ layer of Whisper White.  I stamped the inside sentiment from the Five for All stamp set in Dapper Denim ink.  The guitar from the Epic Celebration stamp set was stamped in memento black ink and colored with the Stampin’ Blends Markers (Pool Party, Bermuda Bay and Smoky Slate).
