Happy Saturday, Stampers!  Today is the day of the month that I gather with my other stamper friends at my house  (now mostly my downline – Yippee!) and we share ideas.  We have a kind of pot luck snack kinda thing and a shoebox swap – just generally talk about our stamping business while eating and stamping.  It is awesome!  So, I thought this “In This Together”  card would be a good one to post today, because we are, after all, in this together.
in this together This card was done with a Tempting Turquoise card base, with the fold at the top (11″ x 4.25″, scored at 5.5″). The next layer is 5.25″ x 4″ from our fairly new Sweet Taffy designer series paper (DSP). I just love all the bright cheery colors! Next i stamped the girls in Tuxedo Black onto Whisper White cardstock and used my big shot and label framelits to cut it out. I used the next size up framelit to cut a layer of Melon Mambo cardstock to matte the Whipser White layer.  I colored the image with the blendabilities (Rich Razzleberry, Coastal Cabana, Smokey Slate and Daffodil Delight) and sponged Tempting Turquoise ink on the edge of the Whisper White layer.

in this together insideFor the interior of the card, I used a 5.25″ x 4″ layer of Whisper White.  The cute strip of designer series paper at the bottom is a 4″ x 1″ strip of the same Sweet Taffy DSP as used on the front of the card.  It’s just the flip side.  All our Stampin’ Up! designer series paper are double sided – providing twice the fun!

Stampin’ Tip: This fabulous saying is from the Stampin’ Up! Really Good Greetings stamp set.  The multi color effect is done by using the Stampin’ Write Markers (Rich Razzleberry, Melon Mambo & Tempting Turquoise).  I used the brush end of the marker to color directly onto the stamp, used my breath to “huff” on it (to re-moisten the ink) and stamped onto the paper.

I invite you to browse my store and click the links below to purchase you stamping supplies.  I’d love to share stamping with you!
