Hi Stampers!  you have heard me talk about my sister in laws wedding for weeks.  I recently showed you the beautiful card that my soon to be grand daughter, Jetta, made (see her card here).  Today I’m sharing the card that I made her.  Well, not the actually card.  I recreated it. Her actual card was made last minute in Vegas, just a few hours before the wedding.  I didn’t even get around to signing it until we were at the wedding.  Anybody else operate as last minute as I do?
Amys-wedding-closedThe card base is Basic Black, cut at 11″ x 5.5″, scored at 4.25″ and 8.5″.  The belly band slips off, so you can open the card.  It is a strip of Coastal Cabana card stock, cut at 1″ x 11″, scored at 4″ and 8.5″, I adhered the two ends together in the back with snail adhesive.  I then stamped the “wedded bliss” from the Stampin’ Up! Tag Talk stamp set in Coastal Cabana onto Very Vanilla card stock and punched it out with the matching Label Bracket Punch

On the inside of the card, I layered Coastal Cabana card stock (5.25″ x 4″) and Very Vanilla card stock (5″ x 3.75″).  I stamped the sentiments from the Stampin’ Up! Big News stamp set in Tuxedo Black and the swirls from the Stampin’ Up! Everything Eleanor stamp set and the heart (twice) from the Big News stamp set in Coastal Cabana ink.  It was a simple to make but a very elegant look.  I hope they liked it.

Happy Stamping,
