Hi Stampers. Today I have a punch art Santa to show you. I got the idea from my fellow demo Latisha Dinkel designed. I thought it was just so cute, I had to try it for myself!
I started this out by making a curvy keepsake box – using that thinlit and Real Red card stock. It’s super cute! Pinterest is full of ideas using this box! I then made the Santa face by starting with a 2 3/8″ scallop circle punched in Whisper White card stock. Then I layered a 1 1/4″ scallop circle punched in Whisper White card stock (Latisha used the 1 3/4″ scallop circle punch – but I don’t have that one yet, surprisingly…). I then used Blushing Bride card stock and the large oval punch to punch out the “face” and used the Blushing Bride card stock and the large circle from the Stampin’ Up! owl builder punch for the “nose”. I used the medium circle from the owl builder and Basic Black card stock to make the eyes. I hand drew a little sparkle in the eyes with the Stampin’ Up! white gel pen. The mustache was made with the Stampin’ Up! mustache framelit, Whisper White card stock and the big shot.
That brings us to the hat. The had was made by punching the petite pennants builder punch and Real Red card stock and again in Whisper White. I then used the Whisper White scalloped pennant and put it back into the punch upside down as shown in the photo above to make the “trim” for the hat. I used the large circle from the owl builder punch and dazzling diamonds glitter paper to make the “ball” for the hat.
This one is mounted on a tootsie pop. This is very similar to the one I did with the punch art pumpkin. See directions for that here.

do you have instructions for the Santa with the tootsie pop? I didn’t see any instructions by the pumpkin. This Santa is just the cutest ever!

The directions on how to make the Santa face are in THIS post. The face is the same on the curvy keepsake box as it is on the tootsie pop holder. The link to the other post just shows you how to make the base. You would just make it in red instead of orange.
I understand the curvy keepsake box thinlit dies are no longer available but was wondering if you knew someone who was wanting to sell some?
