Hi Stampers! A friend of my mom’s (Monika) turned 70 on Sunday. Today she is headed to the coast to spend the night in Fort Bragg by herself. She’s keeping her curiosity fresh – like we suggested in yesterdays card. Today’s card in in her honor as she celebrates her belated birthday. Happy Belated Birthday, Monika!
This card started with a Rose Red Card Base (8.5″ x 5.5″, scored at 4.25″). I cut a piece of designer series paper 2″ x 4.25″ and adhered it to the front of the card, .25″ from the left edge. I then stamped the flower from the Stampin’ Up! Crazy About You stamp set onto Whisper White card stock in Rose Red ink and punched it out with the Flower Medallion punch. Next I stamped the wording “I remembered and I thought…” onto Whisper White card stock in Rose Red ink and punched it out with the Modern Label punch. The flower and the label were adhered to the front of the card with dimensionals and a rhinestone was added to the center of the flower.
For the interior of the card, I adhered a 4″ x 5.25′ layer of Whisper White card stock and stamped the interior greeting in Rose Red ink. I hope this quick and easy card idea comes in handy when you need a card in a hurry.
