Hi Stampers.  It’s that dreaded Monday – that Monday where we all need to go back to work and back to school after our holiday break.  Ugh.  I was lucky in that our office (for my day job) closed between Christmas and New Years – so I just spend a glorious 11 days off!  Going back to work is hard!  That time off did give me time to get my craft room cleaned up and my new product out to make some cards to show you all (as you may have noticed by my posts over the last few days) – so that was a TON of fun!  Today I’m sharing with you a custom card I made for an employee at work who had helped me out with several things when I first started.

thanks-bob

The card in a box pattern (in PDF format) click here for PDF and  videos I made on how to make this card and envelope can be found on this prior post – click here.  I used Basic Black card stock, some gold foil card stock, gold glimmer paper and some Very Vanilla card stock.  The front sentiment was heat embossed with gold embossing powder and the back was cut from our business cards.  In the center I used the little letters framelit dies to cut out his name and backed them with Basic Black card stock.  They are raised up by using clear acetate strips.  The wine glass stamp was from a retired Stampin’ Up! set called Happy Hour.  The jester in the front is our mascot at Crocker and Starr Wines – the Casali guy!

This card fold flat for mailing and I made a custom envelop for it with our envelop punch board.  He was very happy with it and proudly displayed it on his desk for month.  That made me feel good!  It’s nice to be appreciated.

I hope this Monday is kind to you (and me).

Happy Stamping,
