Stampin' Up! Stampin' Blend Markers new alcohol based markers for coloring

Hi Stampers.

I’m excited to announce that TODAY is the day!  Today is the day that customers can order the fabulous Stampin’ Blends!  As a demo, I was able to order them a while back and I can’t begin to tell you how fabulous they are!  These new, high quality, alcohol markers will help you take your shaded coloring to the next level.  The are awesome!

This is the first card I made with them.  This shows how super easy they are.  I am not good at coloring, trust me.  That’s why I like stamping!  But, if I can do this good on my first try – it’s only gonna get better from here!

This card starts with a Chocolate Chip card base, 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″.  I used the stamp set Country Livin’ and colored it in with the new alcohol markers. The truck was stamped onto a 4 3/4″ x 3 1/2″ layer of Whisper White card stock using Memento Black ink. I used the Night of Navy Stampin’ Blends for the truck, Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends for the wood, Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blends for the gas can, Old Olive Stampin’ Blends for the grass and then Smokey Slate Stampin’ Blends for the tires and bumper.

To add a little bit of color to the windows and the headlights, I used just a little bit of the light Smokey Slate Stampin’ Blend marker and the color lifter.  I wrapped some linen thread around the Whisper White layer and mounted it onto a 5″ x 3 3/4″ layer of Marina Mist card stock with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  The Marina Mist layer was then adhered to the card base with snail adhesive.

For the inside of the card, I used a 5 1/4″ x 4″ piece of Whisper White card stock and stamped the boots in Memento Black ink and colored them with the Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends and used the Old Olive Stampin’ Blends to add a little grass under them.

I’m soooo happy with these new alcohol markers and I know you will be too!  I’ve included a supply list with links to my online store so that you can purchase them for yourself.  You won’t regret it!
