Hi Stampers. Do you send Valentine’s Day cards?  I’ve got a pretty one to share with you today.  Now that we’ve all made it past Christmas, I’ve set my sights on Valentine’s Day.  I turn 50 the week before and I’m really NOT looking forward to it.  My thought is by Valentines Day it will all be over! LOL

Stampin' Up! Bloomin' Love Bloomin' Heart Valentines Day card for a friend by Lisa Ann Bernard of Queen B Creations

This card starts with a Real Red card base (8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″). The decorative dots embossing folder gave an interesting texture to a 4″ x 5 1/4″ layer of Whisper White cardstock, using the Big Shot.  The Whisper White layer was then attached with snail adhesive.  I then used the Stampin’ Up! Bloomin’ Heart thinlit dies to cut the heart out of Real Red cardstock and the flowers were cut from Silver Glimmer paper.  The floral heart was adhered to the front of the card with Stampin’ dimensionals placed below the flowers.  The silver glimmer flowers were adhered over the other flowers with mini glue dots.  The sentiment and ribbon were stamped onto a scrap of Whisper White cardstock and cut out with the coordinating die in the Large Numbers framelit dies and adhered with stampin’ dimensionals.

This stamp set and coordinating thinlits are a very versatile and can be used for many occasions year round.  I hope that you would consider adding it to your collection.
