Hi Stampers. I hope you had a blessed Christmas and got to spend time with family and friends. I’m back today with a card made using the Stampin’ Up! Still Night bundle.  Isn’t this owl cool?!?

I started this card with a Thick Very Vanilla card base – 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″, scored at 4-1/4″. Next is a layer of Soft Suede CS, 4″ x 5-1/4″, followed by a layer of Very Vanilla CS 3-3/4″ x 5″ that had been sponged with alot of Night of Navy ink. I stamped the snowflakes in Night of Navy ink and then drew over them with a glue pen and sprinkled dazzling diamonds over the top.  Using the big shot, I cut the moon out of Daffodil Delight CS and the tree branch (from the coordinating Night Owl Framelit Dies) out of Crumb Cake CS. The moon was sponged with Daffodil Delight ink and the tree branch was sponged with Soft Suede ink. The moon and tree branch were attached to the upper two thirds of my card front using multi-purpose liquid glue.

The owl, from the Stampin’ Up! Still Night stamp set was stamped in Early Espresso ink onto a scrap of Very Vanilla CS.  I then colored it with Stampin’ Up! watercolor pencils and blended that with the blender pen. The sentiment was stamped onto a 1″ x 4″ strip of Very Vanilla CS and I flagged the end with the Banner Triple Punch. On the other end I wrapped some twine around the banner and then attached the sentiment and the owl to my card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside of this card I stamped a portion of the branch at top and bottom using Early Espresso ink.  The sentiment in the center was also stamped in Early Espresso ink.

The inside of the card is Very Vanilla, so it’s didn’t need to be lined. It has the sentiment and more branches, stamped in Early Espresso ink.

As we prepare for New Years, I hope you that you have fun plans, but stay safe.  It gets a bit crazy out there.. See you next year!
