Hi Stampers. Welcome back for another blog hope with my Global Stamping Friends! Today we were asked to create something for a “festive celebration”. I wanted to share my Hershey Miniature Chocolate Bar snowman. I have been making these for years with the Stampin’ Up! envelope punch board. They are a hit at my craft fairs!
It starts with an 11″ x 2″ piece of Whisper White card stock, scored at 5 3/8″ and 5 5/8″. I used the envelope punch board to notch both sides 2″ from either end (this makes the neck). The mouth is the notch that was cut out of the hat with the Envelope Punch Board. The eyes are a basic rhinestone jewel colored with a black sharpie and the nose is a pearl accent that I colored with an orange sharpie. For the buttons I used a retired stamp I had handy (Stampin’ Up! Snow Place). 
I adhered two Hershey Miniatures on the inside (with tear and tape so they stick well) and folded it together adhering the two ends together and wrapping the ribbon around the neck, I tied a knot and adhered the ends to the body with glue dots. for the hat, I used a 2″ x 2″ square of Basic Black card stock. I notched the top of the hat and rounded the top corners with the envelope punch board. The brim of the hat is a 2.5″ x .5″ strip of Basic Black card stock. I wrapped washi tape around the had and used my mini accents punch pack with a scrap of Cherry Cobbler card stock and a rhinestone to make the flower. The arms are made using the tree part of the Stampin’ Up! Tree Builder punch and Chocolate Chip card stock and are attached with glue dots.

Awwww, I love snowmen!!! This is so adorable, and so perfect that you used the punched notch for his mouth. I will have to find some button stamps…I wonder if the Trim Your Stocking Framelits buttons would be small enough? Anyway, thanks for sharing this delightful & delicious treat holder 😀
Thanks, Kimberly. Yes, the punched out part makes a perfect smile for the snowman. If you don’t have button stamps you can easily use pearls colored with the Stampin’ Blends (or Sharpie markers) or the enamel shapes or even sequins. So fun!
