Happy New Year, Stampers!!  We did it!  We got through the holidays and into the new decade – welcome to 2020!  Wow, that sounds so odd to me.  It sounds so futuristic, but here we are!

Stampin' Up! Sip Sip Hooray New Years or Congratulations cards by Lisa Ann Bernard of Queen B Creations

I made these three cards with New Years Eve in mind.  I love the Basic Black with our Glimmer and Foil papers.  These cards feel very festive to me.  They can also be used as congratulations or wedding cards.

All 3 cards use the Sip Sip Hooray stamp set and the Sip & Celebrate dies.  This first card is done using Champagne Foil.  I used the foil as the middle layer as well as die cut the champagne flutes from the foil paper.

The front of this card doesn’t use any stamps.  I just die cut using the Sip & Celebrate dies.

I strip of Champagne Foil and a champagne glass stamped in the corner, makes up the card interior.

This card is made using Basic Black CS, Whisper White CS and Gold Glimmer Paper.  I heat embossed the greeting onto the Whisper White circle in gold.

The circles were the perfect size for the greeting, but a little too big for the space on the front of the card where I wanted to put it.  Pushing it to the edge and cutting off the excess made it fit perfectly.

I kept the interior simple by just adding a few Gold Glimmer stars.

My final card is made using Basic Black CS, Whisper White CS and Silver Glimmer Paper.  For this card I die cut the champagne flutes from the Basic Black Layer, reveling the Silver behind.

This sentiment is heat embossed in Silver embossing powder.  The greeting was a little small for strip, so I added some rhinestones on either side.

For the interior of this card, I used the “bubbles” die and stamped the champagne flutes along the bottom.
