Global Stamping Friends Blog Hop Badge

Hi Stampers. Today I am stamping with the Global Stamping Friends.  They asked us to choose our favorite bundle from the Stampin’ Up! catalogs.  Currently, my favorite has to be the Nothing’s Better Than Bundle.  My favorite stamp within that set is “because adulting is hard”.  That seems like the PERFECT phrase for 2020!!

Stampin' Up!, cardmaking, card making, how-to, tutorial, instructions, papercrafting, paper crafting, learn to stamp, stamping, rubber stamping, instructions, handmade, crafting, crafters, create, DIY, handmade card, hand stamped, stamp set, craft supplies, Queen B Creations

This card starts with a simple Basic Gray card base followed by a layer of the Artistry Blooms Designer Series Paper adhered with our new Stampin’ Seal.  Next, I used the Nested Label Dies to die cut a label for the front of my card in Whisper White CS.  The sentiments were stamped onto the label using Magenta Madness & Bumblebee inks.  This was then attached to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The chocolates are done by stamping the detailed part in Early Espresso ink and then stamping the solid center part in Cinnamon Cider ink. We call this “two-step” stamping.  For the cocktails, I stamped in Memento Black ink and colored with the Stampin’ blends. (Although, they too have coordinating solid fill stamps – so you could “two-step” if you wish).

Inside the card is an additional cocktail.  (I feel like I need multiples these days).  A simple strip of the outer DSP helps continue my theme to the inside of the card.  I hope this post inspires you to pull our YOUR stamps, ink and paper and give it a try.  Should you need – stamps, ink or paper – I would be happy to be YOUR demonstrator!  Links to all products used are provided below.
