Hi Stampers.  I have a fun Santa Kisses treat for you today!  I saw something similar to this little bag on Pinterest and thought to myself that would be adorable in Stampin’ Up! card stock.  The sentiment is actually printed from my computer onto business card stock.  But, the bag itself is all Stampin’ Up! (and then filled with Hershey Kisses – little Santa hats – how cute is that?!?!).

I started out with a piece of Cherry Cobbler card stock 7 7/8″ x 5 1/2″.  I then scored it on the long side at 3/8″, 2 7/8″, 4 1/8″ and 6 5/8″.  It was then scored on the short side at 4 1/4″.

Paper snips were used to cut this little triangles at the bottom to make my flaps (see photo above).

An oval framelit and the big shot were used to cut a small oval about a 1/2″ up from the bottom of my bag and centered in the front panel of the bag.  (I used the stitched shapes framelit die – that way, I could use the stitched Cherry Cobbler oval for another project).

Tear and tape was used to adhere a 2 1/2″ x 3″ piece of acetate to the inside of the bag, for the window.

I then adhered tear and tap to the side and the bottom flaps (as shown above) and folded and adhered the bag together.

For the belly band, I used a 3/4″ x 8 1/2″ strip of Basic Black card stock and scored it at 2″, 3 1/4″, 5 3/4″ and 7″.  For the buckle I layered a 1/2″ square of basic black over a 3/4″ square of gold glimmer paper.  It was attached to the belt with glue dots.  I then used glue dots to adhered the belt to the bag.  The bag was filled with 15 Hershey Kisses and closed the top with a stapler.  A retired star punch was used  to punch a small start in the corner of the sentiment card.  It was then attached it to the bag with glue dots.

I’ve attached a list of supplies used in the making of this product with links to my store.  If you want to make some of these and don’t have a demonstrator you work with I would appreciate your business.
